Yesterday, I had a parent compliment all the amazing planning our teachers do in our final two weeks. Staff plan carefully to make these final weeks engaging, fun, peaceful, and still focused on learning. First graders taught each other. Kona Ice came at lunch time as a fundraiser. Fifth graders are working on a project where they need to spend $1.5 million. To end our day, students performed at our yearly talent show!

All our performers did a great job! They all were flexible, showed great courage, and entertained us all!
Today, kindergartners had a special picnic lunch outside. I love kindergartners because simple things like a picnic sure do impress them. As they lined up with their lunches, some were dancing. Some were smiling from ear to ear, and some just wanted to share the special news of a picnic!

Third grade is doing Camp Read A-Lot today. The children are having fun reading while in makeshift tents. So motivating!
Our staff make Johnson a great place to be for our students! Thank you staff for all your planning to make the end of the 2024-25 school year a fun success!
